THE BOYS, the only boys who will burn higher and wake you up with a dazzling flame, will release their ninth mini album [導火線] on October 28th.

Through the trilogy of their previous two full-length albums [PHANTASY], based on the big theme of 'We all dream of fantasy', THE BOYZ proved their prowess by breaking 'career high' records with various keywords such as excitement, mystery, and emotion, as well as firmly imprinting their unique team identity of 'boys' with their own colors. At the same time, they held their third world tour, “THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR : ZENERATION Ⅱ,” and sold out all of their concerts, perfectly proving the exisTENce of The Boyz.

THE BOYZ, who have been on a steep rise with remarkable achievements from their various recordings that have swept the charts both domestically and globally to their world tour, will continue their momentum with their ninth mini album [導火線].

Their ninth mini album [導火線] is an album that captures the explosIVE confidence and ambition of THE BOYZ to continue to develop by igniting the wick for a new leap forward. THE BOYS' conceptual music and performances, as well as new stories and unique colors that are different from their previous charms, are enough to serve as a “spark” for growth that will prove their unlimited potential.

The title track of their 9th mini album [導火線], 'TRIGGER (導火線)', is a song that starts with a strong house electro-pop sound and dramatically develops into a magnificent hip-hop sound, and the keyword 'TRIGGER', which means 'spark' or 'trigger', expresses their ambition to make a big impact and change in the world with their movements. In addition, the music video for “TRIGGER (導火線)” showcases the perfect combination of wild and explosIVE visualization and extreme performance, providing an intense immersion and a unique catharsis that you can't take your eyes off of.

Other songs include “Bite Back,” an Afrobeat hip-hop genre song that premiered during their world tour “Generation Ⅱ” and was warmly receIVEd by global fans, and “bAd,” a song written by member Q, which hilariously explores the sarcastic but unlovable attitude of bAd boy, “Slip Away,” which creates a mesmerizing mood with its tense expression of a close encounter with someone who is clinging to you; ‘Re-Wind,’ which features a lIVEly and unique grooving drum beat and endearing lyrics written by member Eric; and ‘They See Me Dream,’ an alternatIVE pop song with a textured vocal harmony that contrasts with the muted guitar colors and dynamic vocal harmonies.
