SeolA makes her first solo appearance eight years after her WJSN debut, reversing her band sound to appeal to audiences

WJSN's SeolA is going solo for the first time in eight years. This is SeolA's full-fledged solo debut, as she has been steadily expanding her musical spectrum by writing and composing songs while showing attractIVE visuals and vocals in her units WJSN and WJSN THE BLACK.

Her first solo single, "INSIDE OUT," is a deeply emotional album that speaks to SeolA's unique perspectIVE on emotions. She sincerely explains the various emotions that are difficult to define with a single explanation, as if joy and sadness are always bound to coexist. It also contains the message that the presence of SeolA as a space girl and the various aspects of SeolA as a solo artist that she will show in the future are 'one' in the end.

The title track "Without U," which was taken from deep within, summarizes SeolA's new world. It is a band-pop-style song that blends emotional acoustic sounds with Seolah's strong vocals, and depicts her deterMINAtion to break free from pain and be reborn. In addition, Seol-ah not only digests various styles and concepts that she hasn't shown before, but also conveys deeper emotional lines with more musically detailed vocals.

As such, the three songs, including the title track, focus on SEOLA's new style. While "Without U" expresses her honesty with a very straightforward way of speaking, "Let's Talk (Loneliness)" sings about her deep-seated loneliness as if she were talking to her, and "NO GIRL" with Brother Soo is a UK garage genre song that talks about separation and longing, conveying another side of her emotions. In addition, SEOLA is also showing her talent as a singer-songwriter by writing the lyrics for all the songs, including the title track, and composing two of the songs on the album.
