The group name RIIZE is a combination of the words “Rise,” which means “to grow,” and “Realize,” which means “a team that grows together and makes dreams come true.

They have their own genre, “Emotional Pop,” in which they express their various emotions in their songs. They coined the phrase “emotional pop” to describe their lighthearted youthful stories without any big discourse or philosophy. In 'Get A Guitar' and 'Talk Saxy', he not only named instruments in the title, but also introduced the genres of 1980s-style dance pop and 808 bass-drIVEn hip-hop based on sound. “Impossible” features a rhythmic house beat and mysterious synths. The lyrics convey the message that even if everyone thinks something is impossible, when they work together toward the same dream, nothing is impossible anymore. “Boom Boom Bass” is a youthful song that expresses excitement through the bass guitar, which RIIZE introduced as ”the culmination of RIIZE's growth and the definitIVE version of emotional pop.
