The group ONF (ONF) expresses the most powerful force that hope can bring.

ONF is releasing its second album, Part.1 [ONF:MY IDENTITY], after about 10 months since its mini 8th album [BEAUTIFUL SHADOW], released in April last year, and about four years since its first album [ONF:MY NAME], released in February 2021.

ONF, who captivated fans at home and abroad with their grand narratIVEs and unrivaled lIVE performances through their eight mini albums, will transform once again with their second album, Part.1 [ONF:MY IDENTITY]. On this album, ONF presents a deeper worldview and music, conveying hope and the power to move forward to those in darkness as travelers chasing their dreams.

This time, ONN OFF worked with producer Hwang Hyun, who has been with them since their debut, and members Mingyun and Wyatt participated in the composition and lyrics of the title track and other songs, adding meaning. In particular, ONN OFF writes stories that only 'we' can do according to 'our' sTANdards, not the absolute sTANdards set by the world. The members not only showcase an upgraded musical spectrum by exploding their bright energy synergy, but also showcase their impeccable 'performance craftsmanship'.

ONF's second album Part.1 [ONF:MY IDENTITY], which provides a glimpse into their complete music and performance, consists of six tracks.

First, the title track, “The Stranger,” is a pop song with a funky rhythm, featuring vocals that freely cross a wide range. With the theme of “the story of ‘us’ pursuing our dreams,” the members' charming voices harmonize to create a strong attraction and show the strength and deterMINAtion to go our own way.

Not only the title track, but the rest of the songs are also of high quality. From “Night Tale,” which depicts a wandering heart in a sharp and charming way, to vocal unit ON Team's R&B song “Nothing but a stranger (ON Team Ver.),” which conveys their heart with melody and harmony, to performance unit OFF Team's “Anti Hero (OFF Team Ver.),” which shows off their colorful variation of the song, to “Good Place,” which gIVEs a brief respite from their busy lIVEs, to “Collab,” which contains a message to their fans, this second album Part.1 is enough to further solidify ONN OFF's group identity as 'Only One'.

The title track “The Stranger” features a funky beat and vocals that freely cross a wide range, and sings about the harsh world with a positIVE message unique to ONN OFF.

Scat, which comes after a rough rhythm and stormy vocals, adds to the song's colorful appeal, and between the playfulness of the scat and the bass line, ONN OFF's deterMINAtion to follow their own path is evident.

'Night Tale' is an electro funk track with a contrasting ensemble of sharply looping synth bass and understated drums. The use of instruments is minimized to showcase the rhythmic vocals of the 'talented group' on and off.

“I'm a stranger in your world”

“Nothing but a stranger” is a song by ON Team (Hyojin, E-TION, Minkyun), a three-vocalist unit. It's an R&B genre that was hard to find in ON Team's previous music, and if the melody was the words that came out of their mouths, the chords showed their unexpressed feelings.

Contrary to the words that are delIVEred calmly, the numerous unresolved unvoiced notes, which are the heart of this song, express sincerity in combination with unstoppable emotions.

“Anti Hero” by the three-person performance unit OFF Team (Seungjun, WYATT, U) is a song that alternates between trip hop and rock.

'Good Place' is a song that focuses on the original color of the House genre without any modification. It evokes a happy imagination with the different tones of the six members.
