As the first member of Girl of the Month and ARTMS, Heejin is an iconic figure.

Heejin, a talented hexagonal figure of perfection, is making a comeback with her first mini album seven years after her debut.

The album is called <K>. Heejin, who has been known as “Dangun” since she was introduced as the first Girl of the Month, is the creator of Girl of the Month, and through the word K, which represents Korea, she reveals her mOST Korean aesthetic and charm.

The genre of K-Pop is now a global phenomenon. Heejin's album “K” is a collection of music that is K-Pop and what K-Pop should be in the future.

The intro, “Flowering,” expresses the process of blossoming into a new flower with Heejin's voice and sound.

The title track, “Algorithm,” is a breakup song that keeps coming back to you after a relationship ends, like a feed that pops up even when you don't want to see it. It recalls the sound of artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Cyndi Lauper, who doMINAted Western pop in the 80s, and maximizes the dynamic textures of K-POP style to catch the listener's ears at once.

As revealed in the teaser, the music video shows Hee-Jin, who used to lIVE as a princess in a palace, falling in love with K-POP, escaping the palace, meeting friends, practicing choreography, and participating in auditions in the style of a K-Drama. This is in line with the narratIVE of escaping the established company, meeting friends, and becoming one. ARTMS members and ODD EYE CIRCLE members Kim Lip, JinSol, and Choi Ri make appearances, and Haesul makes a surprise appearance at the end to add to the fun.

“Sad Girls Club” captures the mindset of sad girls who are lonely, sad, and determined in R&B music. Led by imsuho, the creators of IU's “Lilac,” they presented “Sad Girls Club” to Heejin.

“Video Game” is by The Kennel, who made many of the Girl of the Month's hits, and it rhythmically gallops along, comparing love to a fast-paced video game.

“Nokia” recalls her abandonment after love ended, like an old cell phone. The cell phone is placed in a drawer like an abandoned phone, and it is shown sleeping without being turned on. In particular, Heejin's sensitivity in interpreting the song with her own voice, regardless of the tempo and mood, sTANds out.

The final song, “Addiction,” sings about how I was addicted to love without realizing it. It is an acid jazz song that mixes sensual vocal synths with Heejin's voice and makes the lisTENer go back to the beginning and play it again.

Following ODD EYE CIRCLE's “Version Up,” Heejin's “K” is past the “K.” The secretIVE group ARTMS has begun preparations for an album that will mark a new beginning early next year. ARTMS, which consists of Heejin, Haesul, Kim Lip, JinSol, and Choi Ri, has named the album <DALL> to signify the restart of the girl of the month's worldview.
